Keyboard Shortcuts

Shortcuts for Full Qwerty Devices (7200, 7500, 8700, 8800, & 9000 series)
While on the buddy list:

  • T  scroll to the top (Accounts bar).
  • B  scroll to the bottom.
  • Y or scroll left  page up.
  • V or scroll right  page down.
  • Space or Enter to trigger the default action for a row. The default action for a group or the account bar is expand/collapse. The default action for an account row is to log in/log out. The default action for a buddy is to start a chat.
  • Alt-Alt-#  of the Chat to open the numbered chat. For example, alt-alt-1 to open chat number 1, alt-alt-2 to open chat number 2.
  • Delete  to end the currently selected chat.

While on the chat screen:

  • T  scroll to the top of the chat scrollback.
  • B  scroll to the bottom and enter the edit field.
  • Y  page up.
  • V  page down.
  • Enter-Enter  to jump to the newest chat with an unread message, or the next chat in the list.
  • Alt-Alt-#  of the Chat to jump to the numbered chat. For example, alt-alt-1 to jump to chat number 1, alt-alt-2 to jump to chat number 2.
  • Alt-Alt-Space  or Enter  to jump to the previous chat.
  • Alt-Alt-Delete  to end the currently open chat.

While on the buddy list:
