Change IP Address Solaris without restart

Solaris 10 edit

/etc/hosts file (a symlink to /etc/inet/hosts file)

and

/etc/inet/ipnodes

add an entry for IP address and hostname.

Restart Network SRV

# svcadm restart network/physical
